Who Qualifies for CHAMP?
Children 8-12 years old from low socio-economic backgrounds, who live below the poverty level, may qualify for this program.
With the help and support of the Montreal School Board and various youth organizations such asThe YM-YWHA, Batshaw, Sun Youth, Trevor Williams Basketball, N.D.G. YMCA and Dawson Community Centre,we find qualified children to attend CHAMP each summer.
Students who attend Champ are:
- Performing well in classes or showing improvement
- Respectful to their teachers and classmates
- Stay physically involved in athletics
How to Apply to CHAMP
STEP 1
CAMPERS 8-12 years old can submit a letter to our office, indicating why they feel they should be accepted
STEP 2
PARENTS must provide proof of their children’s participation in at least one (1) organized sport, and a copy of their last two (2) report cards

Who?
Select CHAMP campers from the select CHAMP program.
What?
Earn a fully sponsored placement at Camp B’nai Brith of Montreal or a community service trip to Peru.
When?
One session during the regular camp season (a $4500.00 USD value)
How?
CHAMP alumni must:
- Remain in organized athletics (confirmed by their coach
- Provide copies of their first two report cards – highest achiever will win!
